Indiana park Castellana Grotte was designed by the company that holds the brand and has many years of experience in the sector. So nothing is improvised. Before installing a structure, the trees were analysed with specific procedures by professionals to verify their stability. The materials used (rope elements, fasteners, etc.) are certified according to the technical standards of AFNOR, the French standardization body. In this regard, it is planned to issue the European Technical Standard during 2008, the drafting of which is already completed. It defines the aspects of good technique related to the design and operation of the structures, providing that they are submitted annually to testing by a certifying body.
All users attend a briefing during which the instructor explains the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and ensures that the first movements are carried out according to the rules, compliance with which ensures that the activity is carried out safely. Instructors are trained to perform rescue manoeuvers in case visitors encounter particular difficulties in completing the trails.
To all those looking for a bit of adventure. The activities offered by this structure are used both for recreational purposes, but also for team building activities (used by companies that want to strengthen the ability of their employees to team work) and educational activities, especially aimed to the school environment, in which contact with nature, the discovery of the first elements of mountain sports and the possibility of strengthening the identity of the group are highly appreciated by educators.
Access to the trails is allowed to all adults with a valid identity document and to all minors provided that accompanied by a responsible adult.

Usually people who suffer from vertigo know this from the start and avoid this activity; but if you find out only when you are on the trails, then an assistant will help you and bring you back to the ground.
